TotalVision Eyecare Center, Vision Insurance, Connecticut

The cost of routine eye exams and prescription eyewear can be of real concern, especially for large families. In many cases, vision insurance can lower these annual expenses. A vision insurance policy is not the same as health insurance. Regular health insurance plans protect you against financial losses due to unexpected eye injuries or disease. Vision insurance, on the other hand, is a wellness benefit designed to provide routine eye care, prescription eyewear, and other vision-related services at a reduced cost. To assist you in the complexities of insurance issues, our experienced team will attempt to determine your expected benefits before your examination. When making your appointment, be sure to have your insurance card available so we may assist you in pre-determining your benefits. Every patient, however, should be well versed in his/her particular policy and understand that regardless of what you or our office anticipates in reimbursed fees, you are ultimately responsible for any fees not reimbursed by your insurance company.
